Event - The Arch of Titus and the Jewish Community of Rome

November 13, 2025

Explore the Jewish history of Rome’s Arch of Titus, famed for its depiction of looted Temple treasures, including a large menorah. This class examines the purpose of triumphal arches, the Arch’s construction and symbolism, its impact on the Jewish community, and its transformation from a symbol of defeat to one of resilience and triumph.

Beth Emet relies on budgeted funds and donations to support adult education. This year, instead of class fees, we aim to raise $4,000 to cover costs. Please consider an optional donation at registration to help sustain lifelong learning.
