Event - Kabbalat Torah Service and Dinner & Gesher Ceremony

May 15, 2026

Beth Emet's culminating ceremony for our high school seniors and 7th graders will be Friday, May 15. Everyone is invited to celebrate, learners, parents and guardians, grandparents, friends, and siblings! Everyone should arrive at 5:45 pm for our oneg. Our KT students will begin with pictures. The Gesher students will arrive at the same time to display their Gemilut Chasadim projects in the lobby and show off their work. Our Kabbalat Shabbat Services begin at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. During the service, we will hear from the KT class about their reflections from the year, and what is next for their Jewish journey. The rising 8th graders will witness, and join in, the pride and learning of our current 12th graders.

Following the Shabbat service, everyone will join for a festive dinner in the Crown Room. During dinner, the Gesher class will present what they have learned as well as meaningful and humorous moments from their year. This year's Kabbalat Torah class includes the Gesher Madrichol, who will help the rising 8th graders literally cross the "bridge" from being a Jewish child to being a Jewish adult.
