Event - Know Your Genes, Protect Your Future: Hereditary Cancer Testing Explained

October 18, 2026

What if one test could help protect your loved ones for generations? Join the Norton & Elaine Sarnoff Center for Jewish Genetics and genetic counselor Scott M. Weissman for an informative and accessible conversation about the Sarnoff Center’s new Hereditary Cancer Testing Program. The discussion will be moderated by Beth Emet member Dr. Ed Linn. Join us and discover how genetic testing can help detect cancer early, guide prevention and treatment, and protect your family for generations to come.

Beth Emet relies on budgeted funds and donations to support adult education. This year, instead of class fees, we aim to raise $4,000 to cover costs. Please consider an optional donation at registration to help sustain lifelong learning.
