Event - Before "Here There Are Blueberries": The History Behind the Play

April 7, 2027

"Here There Are Blueberries," running at Northlight Theater in Spring 2027, is a powerful and haunting drama that draws on real photographs discovered at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Join Director of Lifelong Learning Lauren Reeves and Adult Education Committee member Doug Hoffman for a pre-performance session that explores the history behind the play, offering context that will deepen your experience of this remarkable work. This session is a wonderful complement for those attending the performance as part of a congregational group outing.

Beth Emet relies on budgeted funds and donations to support adult education. This year, instead of class fees, we aim to raise $4,000 to cover costs. Please consider an optional donation at registration to help sustain lifelong learning.
